Hi, I’m Rachael

A little bit about me:

I specialize in helping clients with stress, domestic violence, trauma, PTSD, behavioral management, coping skills, family conflict, relationship issues, and boundaries.

I believe in having an open, safe and trusting therapeutic environment where clients can work through the issues they bring to therapy. I love working with individuals who are ready for change, but need some extrinsic motivation and guidance.

I earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Memphis and am currently licensed in Tennessee as a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider. I have training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Feedback informed Treatment (FIT), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), among others. I am also an Approved Supervisor for those seeking licensure supervision.

My Approach

A woman with long dark hair, wearing a burgundy top with patterned sheer sleeves, sitting on a beige sofa and smiling at the camera.

It all begins with a phone consultation where we determine if this is the right time for therapy and if I am the right fit for you.

Individualized

Every client is different and has their own unique needs. My collaborative intake approach allows you to voice what you need out of treatment and we make a plan to reach your goals together.

Referral

I believe in everyone achieving their best life. If we are not the right fit, I will help you find appropriate referrals.
